Our lotus seeds come from the lotus flower, India’s national flower.
They come from the fruit of the plant found growing naturally in ponds and rivers - nature’s answer to our snacking needs! To get from pond to pack, we work with aquatic farmers in Bihar, North India. Sustainably harvest the lotus seeds are then left to dry in the sun. We then heat and pop each lotus seed to create the delicious, light and crunchy snack we love so much!
Our seeds are grown in natural ponds and rivers. They grow up with other plants and fish, keeping biodiversity and extra income for the farmers as there is only one harvest a year.
